Hi my name is Kenny Barnes, I have coached at the Lansing Park district for six years prior to coaching the Lansing Lady Warriors.  I  attended Bremen High School in Midlothian, IL from 1982-1986.  While at Bremen I helped lead the varsity basketball team to the Sectional championship game in 1986.  After graduating from Bremen I went to Vermillion College  in Northern Minnesota .  While at Vermillion I averaged 15 pts, 6 assists and led the conference in freethrow percentage. Throughout my playing career I have always had coaches who were strong disciplinarians and teachers of the fundamentals of  basketball.  My goal is to help each and every player  become a better player through hard work, discipline, and knowledge of the game of basketball..
